Wedding Officiant Fees

The Wedding Officiant you choose will have a lead role in one of the most significant days of your life.

“Personally, I love a wedding ceremony that is packed full of warm sighs, joyful tears, and laughter; an emotional roller coaster ride for the guests and an unforgettable experience for the Newlyweds." ~ Frank

As a Humanist Celebrant, I know that I can't be everything to everybody -- and I don't want to. That's why I choose work exclusively with couples who prefer a Secular or Non-religious Wedding Ceremony.

Prior to my career as a Wedding Officiant, I spent 30 years traveling and performing as an Entertainer, MC and Event Producer working in the Special Event and Hospitality industries. This experience allows me to be a knowledgeable adviser and resource to any brides and grooms planning their wedding day celebration.

Whether 2 witnesses or 200+ guests, I provide a premium wedding production to every couple who has committed to work with me.

“The bigger your wedding production the more experienced an Officiant you should consider."

My fee to prepare, produce, and perform a wedding ceremony in Seattle, and surrounding metropolitan communities, is on par with other experienced full-time professional Wedding Officiants. I offer complete wedding ceremony productions for gatherings of up to 30 guests starting at $575. Elopement Weddings, a little less.

"The role an experienced Wedding Officiant, like Frank Harlan, plays in helping you to plan and coordinate your actual wedding ceremony is substantial. And, his knowledge of special event production and wedding etiquette is priceless."

The production fee covers the overall actual time required to communicate with you; organize and script your wedding ceremony program. Then put all the pieces together, rehearse it with everyone involved, and finally, meet with you on your wedding day and perform your ceremony with you for all of your guests to witness.

I believe that the wedding ceremony is a momentous occasion, the reason this event is even taking place -- not just another item on a list of tasks to be completed on your wedding day. I always work to ensure that my fee offers great value to any couple who has chosen to book me as their Wedding Officiant and ceremony producer.

No-obligation initial consultation
I am happy to quote you a fee, over the phone. I offer flat fees based on the size of your event, and distance required to travel to produce and perform your wedding ceremony. And, if you would like, at that time we can schedule a time to meet for coffee or tea, and a more formal introduction.

I am available to meet with couples on the phone, face-to-face in the Seattle area, or on Skype.

Include your names, wedding date, number of guests, and venue.

Notice to June-Sept Weddings: Saturdays book the fastest followed by Fridays. July and August weddings may be booked up to a year in advance. As a policy, I book only one wedding production per day.

The Humanist view of life is progressive and optimistic, in awe of human potential, living without fear of judgment and death, finding enough purpose and meaning in life, love and leaving a good legacy."
